http://www.aztlan.net/iraqi_women_raped.htm; While these images are clearly horrifying and represent the worst sides of war -- and clearly rape during wartime is a too-common crime -- these particular pictures and accompanying story are poorly sourced and could be faked or could be from some other war.

I encourage those who see these to understand that, while crimes such as those shown here do occur, it's important to treat these images with healthy scepticism until and unless more is learned about their origin.

All sides are engaging in a war of information in which there may now be more false information about war published than information which is true.
